ELEVEN men will stand trial next year in connection with a huge brawl at a wedding.

Up to 50 guests were reportedly involved in fighting during the reception at the Daresbury Park Hotel on the evening of June 26 last year.

Wedding party members allegedly barricaded themselves inside the function room at the Chester Road site when police attended at around 11.30pm.

Dozens of officers were called to the scene, with 30 police cars rushing to the area according to eyewitnesses.
