A LATCHFORD man has lit up his street with Christmas decorations once again to spread some festive cheer while raising money for charity.

Craig Middlemore has become known for his magical displays, lighting up his garden and house in Picheal Nook for the Christmas season.

This year, Craig is raising money for St Rocco's Hospice and has set up a Just Giving page for people to donate.

For every £100 raised, Craig has promised to add even more decorations to his extravagant display.

"I decided to start doing it all for charity last year," Craig explained.

"This year I wasn’t sure it would work with the year we have had but wow, I was wrong.

Warrington Guardian:

"We have just hit our £500 target and there is still more coming in.

"I chose St Rocco's due to it being a charity close to the heart of a good friend of mine who has been doing an amazing job throughout lockdown with his online bingo, not only raising money for St Rocco's, but keeping hundreds of us sane by having something to look forward to.

"However, this isn’t just about donations.

"Every penny counts and means so much but, after a real testing year for many, I just wanted to make people smile and what better way than 'lighting up the nook'."
