A MAN has been arrested after threatening staff at a town centre supermarket with a needle.
Police were called to the Aldi store on Bankside following the incident yesterday, Saturday.
The shopper, who was wanted on recall to prison, is alleged to have made the threats after being confronted by staff for shoplifting.
He was arrested on suspicion of theft, using threatening behaviour and breaching a criminal behaviour order.
