A STALKER who followed his victim around town and turned up at her workplace has been jailed.
Daniel Hazeldine, from Old Hall, also sent the care home worker a barrage of texts and messages over social media during a month-long campaign of harassment in March and April this year.
His actions caused the woman ‘very serious distress’.
The 31-year-old, of Nansen Close, admitted stalking and was handed a 12-week imprisonment at Warrington Magistrates Court on Friday, November 13.
Hazeldine was also handed a restraining order preventing him from contacting the victim or attending her home or place of work for five years and told to pay a surcharge of £122.
