A POPULAR coffee shop in Lymm will soon have a sister store in Warrington town centre.

The Coffee House, which also has shops in Widnes, Northwich and Greater Manchester, has confirmed its plans to open a new store in the heart of the town.

The pioneering Lymm shop in Eagle Brow is run by brothers Chris and Stephen Shelmerdine after opening in 2011.

Like all hospitality businesses, 2020 has been an especially difficult year for the pair, but they have moved to thank customers for their much-appreciated support.

And the former Lymm High School pupils say they cannot wait to start trading in the town centre, which will be the ninth Coffee House following the opening of their next venture in Runcorn Shopping City.

“We want to say thank you to all our customers for supporting The Coffee House over these recent months,” said marketing manager Lizzie Clarke.

Warrington Guardian:

The Coffee House Northwich

“Nearly a decade has passed since we opened our first store in the beautiful village of Lymm, but nothing could have prepared us all for the challenges this year has presented to the entire world.

“Following our reopening in July, it has been an absolute joy to welcome customers back through our doors.

“The New Year brings us our next venture in Runcorn Shopping City, which will be opening in early 2021, closely followed by a place we have had our hearts set on for years, Warrington town centre.

“We have received many positive words of support, and we would like to continue supporting the local community.

“We look forward to welcoming many familiar and new faces to our stores and hope that everyone remains safe and well throughout these difficult times ahead.”
