UNFORTUNATELY, the return of junior rugby league in Warrington was all too brief.
Just four weeks after resuming, the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation's plan to get children in the town playing again has had to be put on hold as the nation goes back into lockdown.
However, the impact the return has had cannot be doubted as kids from the town's seven community clubs got back together in a Covid-secure way.
More than 700 players from ages five to 16 got back to playing the game they love but must now wait until next year.
