WARRINGTON Wolves players and head coach Steve Price have done a lovely thing.

Gareth Widdop, Blake Austin, Chris Hill and Stefan Ratchford have shown their class by sending video messages to a Bank Quay Bulls junior player who suffered a broken jaw at the weekend after his long awaited return to rugby.

The under 12s player, who has only been revealed as 'Lennon', also received a phone call from Price in the days following the incident at Victoria Park Stadium, where Warrington Wolves Foundation have orchestrated a Covid-safe environment for the town's youngsters aged seven to 16 to be able to play matches again.

Widdop told Lennon: "I just want to wish you well. Stay strong, stay positive and I'm sure you'll come through the other side."
