WARRINGTON Town are in FA Trophy action on Saturday, with Lancaster City visiting Cantilever Park for a first qualifying round tie.

However, they may well find their next two league games postponed for differing reasons.

Following Saturday's cup tie, Yellows are due to make the short trip to FC United of Manchester on Tuesday night.

However, FC are one of three Pitching In Northern Premier League sides still in the FA Cup, which has now reached the First Round Proper.

Their home tie against League One side Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, November 7, has been selected to be broadcast live on BBC Two.

In past seasons, midweek matches involving teams in FA Cup action the following weeked are often postponed in order to give sides as much preparation time as possible.

While FC United are in FA Cup action, Town are slated to welcome Scarborough Athletic to Cantilever Park for a league fixture.

However, Scarborough have this afternoon confirmed that two of their players have tested positive for Covid-19, with several of their teammates required to self-isolate as a result.

They have already forfeited Saturday's FA Trophy tie against Witton Albion and are due to make an announcement shortly on their upcoming league fixtures.

Yellows' league game against Buxton on Tuesday night was abandoned just before half time due to a serious injury suffered by midfielder Scott Brown.
