POLICE are urging anyone whose vehicle has been interfered in attempted thefts to report the incidents.
Officers in Hindley say they have seen a series of cases in the area where car doors have been tried to gain entry.
It is believed there may be other victims whose cars have been targeted who have not come forward.
In a statement, GMP said: "Police from the neighbourhood teams for Abram and Hindley have been made aware of a series of vehicle interference with offenders trying car doors to gain entry.
"It would appear from speaking to victims who have reported this to us that there may be other victims of this who have not reported this.
"We would encourage anyone who is aware of being victim of these offences to contact us so we can look to bring these offenders to justice. "Incidents must be reported to 101 or by using the GMP Live Chat function. Thank you."
