The tunnel on Knutsford Road linking Kingsway South and Station Road
A PEDESTRIAN tunnel in Latchford is undergoing a makeover.
Work is currently ongoing on the footway on Knutsford Road, linking Kingsway South to Station Road underneath the old railway viaduct.
The walls of the tunnel have been whitewashed and adorned with the word Latchford in a mural featuring landmarks in the area such as Victoria Park and Westy Park.
No access is available to pedestrians while the renovation is carried out.
