No further deaths among Covid-19 positive patients were announced today across north Cumbria's hospitals.
There were two further deaths among Covid-19 positive patients announced today by the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the Furness General Hospital in Barrow.
These deaths were recorded on Monday and Tuesday.
The latest coronavirus figures for Cumbria are as follows:
There were 5,320 lab-confirmed cases of the virus in the county as of 7am today.
That's up 157 since yesterday.
There have now been 647,025 cases of the virus across England.
Allerdale cases- 691 up from, 673
Barrow cases- 1,291 up from, 1,265
Carlisle cases- 1,235 up from, 1,176
Copeland cases- 575 up from, 559
Eden cases- 415 up from, 394
There have now been 38,996 death in England sine the start of the pandemic.
Total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic of people who had had a positive test result for Covid-19 and died within 28 days of the first positive test.
