A HOUSE in Longford linked to criminal activity and anti-social behaviour has been shut down by a court order.
Cheshire Police has been granted a closure order for the property on Fisher Avenue after the occupants caused ‘continuous’ issues in the area.
The judgement – handed down by Warrington Magistrates Court today, Tuesday – means that no persons will be allowed to enter the property for a period of three months and could be arrested if they do so.
A force spokesman said: “The occupant of the address has caused continuous anti-social behaviour and other criminal activities, which has made the lives of those in the local community a misery.
“We will continue to work with the community and local housing association to tackle this kind of behaviour.”
