AN Orford pub is currently closed as a precaution after one of its visitors tested positive for coronavirus.
The Hawthorne will be reopening at 3pm today, Tuesday, after shutting its doors for 24 hours for a deep clean.
The team were informed that the customer was last in the pub on Thursday and subsequently tested positive for Covid-19.
A statement on Facebook said: "I have decided to voluntarily shut the pub for 24 hours to have it professionally deep cleaned. This is to protect our amazing staff and customers. Those of you who were in on Thursday and signed Track and Trace may be contacted by the service.
"I would like to assure my customers and the wider community that we have all of the required safety measures in place and everyone here at The Hawthorne have continued to operate safely within the government guidelines."
Today's pub quiz will still be taking place at 7pm.
