Major road to close overnight for 5 weeks from Monday
ROADWORKS will close a road in Appleton over night for the next five weeks.
Work starts on Lumb Brook Road in the village on Monday.
It will be from Bridge Lane to Witherwin Avenue between 7pm and 1am.
Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works.
The alternative route will be via Witherwin Avenue, Broom Avenue, Lyons Lane, London Road, Grappenhall Road and vice versa.
The restrictions are required to allow for carriageway surfacing.
The pavements will also be repaired.
