WE have seen 'hot desks' as an alternative to working from home and one pub has even built a teepee in its beer garden for people who prefer to eat and drink outdoors during the pandemic.

The innovation and tenacity of the Warrington hospitality sector during the coronavirus crisis has been impressive.

Now, with more people choosing to drink at home while we weather a spike in infection rates, venues have started to offer bottled cocktails to go so you can have the mixology experience in your living room.

Bold Street House in the town centre and Olive Tree in Stockton Heath are among those offering bar-quality cocktails to go.

Jenny Arnot, owner of Bold Street House, said: "Pretty much our whole cocktail menu is available to take away Thursday through Sunday.

"We do two serves for £14, three serves for £18 and only use the best spirits, fresh fruit juices and purées.

"Our bottled cocktails are exactly the same cocktails as we serve in the bar and they only need to be shaken or stirred at home. Each cocktail comes with instructions and garnish and will last in the fridge for two or three days."

Olive Tree has just introduced its Greekstar Martini and Raspberry Rush to takeaway.

Warrington Guardian:

A spokesman said: "Avoid the hassle of buying all the cocktail ingredients yourself and take home your favourites for just £3.95 each or £21.95 for case of six."

You can order to collect or get Olive Tree cocktails delivered via Deliveroo.
