MILITARY helicopters have been spotted in the skies over Warrington this week.
The Royal Air Force’s Puma helicopters have been deployed across northern England over the past few days.
They were seen flying low over the town, and landed on Victoria Park – with units from RAF Benson in Oxfordshire having been taking part in pre-deployment training.
RAF helicopters are a semi-regular sight in Warrington, with the park having been used for this training on several occasions in recent years.
Reader Colin Yates captured these pictures of the aircraft landing at Victoria Park.
