ROADWORKS are set to cause disruption to traffic through Weaverham today and tomorrow.
Temporary traffic lights will be put in place in Gorstage Lane by Weaverham High School today and are expected to stay in place for two days.
The road, between Forest Street in Weaverham and Hodge Lane in neighbouring village Hartford, will be taken down to one lane while Cheshire West and Chester Council carries out 'footway slurry seal works'.
Traffic will be managed today, Monday, and tomorrow with the use of temporary traffic lights, which are expected to cause heavy traffic during the peak times.
The roadworks are scheduled to start today from 9am.
