A FURTHER patient being cared for at Warrington Hospital for coronavirus has sadly died.
The news was confirmed by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in its daily Covid-19 update.
This means that 146 coronavirus inpatients at trust hospitals have died since the start of the pandemic.
As of yesterday, Monday, there were 41 Covid-19 positive inpatients in the care of Warrington Hospital.
Of these, six were in the intensive care unit.

To date, the trust has tested 25,229 inpatients and members of the community for coronavirus, with 1,456 being told that they had produced a positive result.
A total of 451 patients have been discharged after recovering from Covid-19.
