THE number of patients admitted to Warrington Hospital for coronavirus has risen.
This is according to figures released by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospital.
As of yesterday, Friday, there are currently 27 inpatients being cared for that have tested positive for Covid-19.
This is a rise of two compared to data released on Wednesday.
Of these 27, there are five patients in intensive care, which is again two more than on Wednesday.
To date, the trust has tested 23,221 inpatients and members of the community for coronavirus.
A total of 1,355 tested positive.
The number of patients who had tested positive but have since recovered stands at 427.
Sadly, 141 have died, the most recent of which came exactly one week ago.
