A TEENAGER was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Appleton yesterday afternoon.
The North West Ambulance Service was called to a crash on London Road, near to the junction with Dingleway, at around 3.15pm on Monday, September 21.
NWAS has confirmed that a female in her late teens was taken to hospital by ambulance after a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on the A49.
But the extent of her injuries is unconfirmed.
A spokesman said: “We were called to a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian at 3.16pm and we attended with an ambulance and rapid response vehicle – a female in her late teens was taken to hospital.”
