POLICE in Warrington have released details of more arrests which have been made this weekend.

-Two men were arrested on suspicion of stealing a large amount of vodka after officers stopped a vehicle.

Police stopped a vehicle in Rixton on Saturday. This resulted in the arrest of two men over an alleged bulk theft of vodka.

Both suspects were taken into custody.

- Elsewhere, officers responded to a report of an outbreak of disorder in Latchford on Saturday evening.

They arrested one man in connection with the disturbance on suspicion of disorderly behaviour.

He was taken into custody.

- Meanwhile, on Saturday police shared details of an arrest they made on Thursday afternoon.

Officers were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance at a town centre pub. A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly and of resisting arrest.

The suspect also allegedly assaulted a detention officer in custody.

The man has since been charged, say police and he will appear in court.
