WARRINGTON Wolves have named a revised and depleted 21-man squad for Friday's clash with Hull FC.

It comes after six Wire players were stood down following RFL track and trace analysis on Sunday's game against Wakefield after a Trinity player returned a positive Covid-19 test.

Co-captains Chris Hill and Jack Hughes are both missing from the squad, as are Jason Clark, Joe Philbin, Samy Kibula and Matt Davis while Ben Murdoch-Masila remains suspended.

Anthony Gelling does return from a two-match ban but Sitaleki Akauola remains out.

Leilani Latu and Ellis Robson are in line for their first appearances for the club, while youngsters Connor Wrench and Ellis Longstaff are drafted in.

Declan Patton and Luis Johnson are also brought into the 21.

It is a mixed bag of availability news for Hull FC coach Andy Last, who is able to welcome four players back into his squad but he loses others.

Jake Connor, Ligi Sao, Josh Bowden and Cameron Scott are called into the Black and Whites squad but scrum-half Marc Sneyd and winger Ratu Naulago are injured while forward Joe Cator is suspended.
