A TOILET block in a Stockton Heath closed for more than a decade is to be demolished.
The building at the Forge car park was shut in the late 2000s after complaints from villagers that 'cottaging' was rife, especially in the afternoons.
Since then it has been locked.
Now Warrington Borough Council is looking to pull down the redundant building in a bid to create new car park.
The Warrington Guardian reported earlier this year that £750,000 was to be spent on the car park which is full of pot holes.
The planning documents state: "The existing public toilet block has been redundant and out of use for some time.
"This toilet block is situated just outside the conservation area, and in close proximity to St Thomas’ Church."
