BRADFORD can expect a lunchtime downpour today, with the threat of thunderstorms not ruled out.
The sunny, dry weather of the last few days is expected to make way for an early afternoon spell of heavy rain, according to the Met Office.
We can expect a dry and cloudy morning followed by rain at noon, turning heavier between 1pm and 2pm, when there will be an 80 per cent chance of rain.
Dry and cloudy conditions will be replaced by sunshine for the rest of the day, from 4pm, with temperatures today expected to peak at 26C.
Bradford can also expect another muggy night, with temperatures only set to fall to 20C by 11pm.
But the Met Office has also issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms for the whole of the UK for all of today, tomorrow and Thursday.
They say: “Some places (in the UK) are likely to see severe thunderstorms early next week - but there is significant uncertainty in location and timing.”
