A BRADFORD opticians has showcased its ongoing commitment to the city by investing in an extensive £70,000 renovation.

Specsavers has been part of Bradford Broadway for more than 18 months.

During lockdown, the team were classed as key workers to provide urgent and essential eye care to those who needed it.

But now, the store is back open to offer a full range of optical and audiology services, and the team are excited about the revamp which has improved the customer journey as well as the contact lens service.

The refurbishment of the Bradford Broadway store was essential to keep up with the demand of optical services, and an investment Dominic Doran and Raj Gill were keen to make since becoming the new store partners earlier this year, as well as continuing to direct Specsavers Keighley.

Mr Gill said: “We wanted to invest in this store because it is our hometown and we can see the huge potential here to serve our own local community.

“As things slowly start getting back to normal, we have been very excited to unveil the new Bradford Broadway store revamp and we know that customers new and old will welcome the changes.

‘We have worked hard to ensure that the improvements will help us to accommodate customers more efficiently and comfortably while retaining the high quality of customer care that we pride ourselves on.

“This also aids social distancing measures and ensures the safety of our customers as well as our team.

“During lockdown down, the store was kept open for urgent and essential needs. Now we are open for routine care we ask our customers to call and make an appointment.”
