THE latest break down of coronavirus cases has revealed one ward in East Lancashire where 32 people have tested positive for the deadly disease.

The coronavirus positive cases by middle super output area (MSOA) map shows Audley in Blackburn as having 32 active cases – though the actual number could be much higher given those who have tested positive in the last week.

The map, which shows active cases recorded between July 27 and August 2, also reveals Nelson West as a coronavirus hotspot, with 25 people living in the area testing positive.

Lancashire Telegraph:

In Bastwell, the other dark blue area on the map, 30 people have returned a positive result to a COVID-19 test.

All the data in this article has come directly from Public Health England and can be accessed here.

If your ward does not appear on the list below, there were no positive cases recorded from that postcode for the latest period – that does NOT mean there are no COVID-19 cases in your area.

Fron the latest data available we can reveal that Audley, Lammack and Revidge and Nelson West seem the worst affected wards in East Lancashire.
