AN ultra modern 'Grand Designs' style home could be built in Lymm.

Planning permission for the remarkable structure, which has been designed to fit in with the woodland setting on the spare piece of land, was granted in February.

Now the land is for sale for £350,000.

The person who buys it will then have to pay for the unique build.

Warrington Guardian:

The new house, on Higher Lane, would be one and a half storeys, with the bedrooms located within a roof space.

The ceiling would be restricted to the front but with full height to the back to fit in with the trees around.

The style is bespoke and features three linked chambers which are curved to retain protected trees in the area.

The woodland in question is more than 100 years old.

The building would be timber clad with a curved wildflower green roof.

Planning permission for the 1680sqft building, which will be sited opposite Woodlands Avenue, was approved in February.
