UNUSED farm buildings in Lymm could be turned into 12 new homes, plans have revealed.
Developers are looking to transform the redundant agricultural buildings at Massey Brook Farm into houses.
Modern steel buildings would also be demolished under the scheme to create landscaping and parking.
The planning document said: "The applicant and their family have owned the farm for a number of years with the farm enterprise being modernised and reduced in recent years.
"This reduction has resulted in a number of buildings becoming redundant and they would therefore like to rationalise these units to create new dwellings within easy access of the M56 and wider region."
Plans to create six houses on the site were approved last year but now a bigger scheme is being proposed.
This would create 12, two-bedroom properties.
The application added; "The proposal would improve on a previous planning permission to enhance the viability and longevity of the site through introduction of 12 dwellings.
"The proposal utilises existing redundant structures on site, improving the openness of the site and reducing the impact on the green belt.
"The proposals would not impact any neighbouring properties."
