HOW do you fancy your name on a football stand?

Warrington Town are offering fans and potential sponsors that very opportunity for the price of a raffle ticket.

A price of £100 will put you in the draw, with a first prize of having the Cantilever Bridge end of Town’s Cantilever Park home named after you or your business.

However, you haven't got long to put your hat in the ring as the deadline for entries is 12 midday on Friday.

As well as the 24’ x 2’ advertising board pride of place front and centre on the stand, the prize also includes a dedicated page on the club website and mentions in the club’s media coverage throughout the season.

“We wanted to run something similar last summer but never quite got round to it, so now seems like the perfect time – as a good way to generate funds for the club and also to provide an opportunity for someone to win a sponsorship deal at a fraction of its value,” Yellows chairman Toby Macormac said.

“We’re also looking forward to using this as an opportunity to engage with local businesses ahead of the return of football, as we look to get back on track with our ambitions to move up the football pyramid.”

There are also runner-up prizes of an 8’ x 2’ pitch perimeter advertising board and a season ticket for the team’s 2020-21 campaign.

Town boss Paul Carden will conduct the draw, which will be broadcast live on the club’s Facebook page, after the team’s friendly against City of Liverpool FC this coming Friday, August 28.
