POLICE raided a house in Callands yesterday over reports of a dangerous dog.
Officers executed a search warrant at a property on Granston Close shortly before midday on Wednesday, July 29.
They seized an allegedly dangerous dog from the address, with the animal having been taken to a kennels.
Residents reported a large police presence at the scene, with six patrol cars and two vans spotted in the area.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “At 11.48am on Wednesday, July 29, attended and address on Granston Close to conduct a warrant under the Dangerous Dogs Act.
“The owner of the dog complied with officers and the animal has been taken to a secure kennels.”
