A KNIFEMAN who slashed his victim in the face in a town centre nightclub, a drug dealer caught with £75,000 of heroin on the M62 and a woman who coughed at police officers during the coronavirus pandemic were among the Warrington criminals brought to justice in July.
Every month, the Warrington Guardian takes a look back at some of the court cases that have been featured in the paper in the weeks previously.
Other defendants appearing in July included a thief who sold concert tickets on Facebook but failed to provide the goods, a man who armed himself with a brick in the town centre and a sex offender who broke into his victim's house and strangled her.
