PROTESTERS marched through Warrington town centre during a peaceful Black Lives Matter (BLM) demonstration this afternoon, Saturday.
The protest, the third in Warrington in the last six weeks, started at the Town Hall at 1pm.
Around 100 people attended before making their way through the town centre.
Today’s BLM Warrington protest centred around ‘the UK not being innocent’, with the event including a speech on systemic racism.
But the group faced some altercations along the route.
Members believe the town must use its voice to deliver change as it aims to create a ‘safe space’ for a positive discussion about race.
