TWO further deaths from coronavirus have been recorded at Wirral hospitals, NHS England has confirmed.
It means the total number of people who have passed away in Wirral University Teaching Hospital after testing positive for the virus currently stands at 238.
The latest reported Wirral deaths occurred on June 25 and July 7.
Nationally, a further 22 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 28,991.
Patients were aged between 53 and 94 years old. One patient, aged 77 years old, had no known underlying health conditions.
Their families have been informed.
