A FURTHER two patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for coronavirus.

One patient died on Sunday while the other passed away yesterday, Tuesday.

This means a total of 133 people have now died at the Trust.

Since the start of the coronavirus outbreak, Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals have tested 8,334 inpatients/members of the community.

Of these 1,164 have tested positive.

There was one Covid-19 positive patient in ICU last week.

The hospital has discharged 358 patients.

Across England, a further 50 people, who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals to 28,759.

Patients were aged between 52 and 97 years old.

Two patients, aged 52 and 63, had no known underlying health conditions.
