A RESTAURANT which was due to open days before lockdown will finally welcome its first diners this weekend.
Maison Fleur will open on Saturday – more than 100 days after the planning opening was cancelled.
The venue, on Walton Road in Stockton Heath, promises cocktails and tapas.
It offers classics like patatas bravas alongside mouthwatering spicy Jerk chicken and Oriental sticky pork belly.
And charcuterie and cheese sharing boards.
And as you may expect from the name – house of flowers in English – the restaurant is covered in flowers both inside and out.
Owner Kenny Valentin said: "Meticulous care has been taken to ensure we adhere to all current government guidelines, and the safety of our customers remains our number one priority at all times.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and encouragement during what has been an incredibly challenging time. We are now looking to the future and can’t wait to share it with you all."
Online booking is now available on the Facebook page at facebook.com/MaisonFleurStocktonHeath.
