WARRINGTON Wolves rising star Riley Dean joined two Wigan Warriors young guns in completing a 48km challenge in 48 hours for charity.
Stand-off Dean, 18, along with 19-year-old's Morgan Smithies and Amir Bourouh raised more than £1,500 by completing their mission for The Nick Smith Foundation by running around Scammonden Reservoir.
The trio played together for England Youth.
They grew up playing with Siddal ARLFC in Halifax – the amateur club where Nick ‘Smudger’ Smith was captain for many years. Nick died in December, 2017, from Motor Neurone Disease at the age of 38 and they wanted to raise money for the charity set up in his name.
Dean has come through the academy ranks at The Wire and made his Super League debut last year.
