SHOPPERS will benefit from free Sunday parking at Time Square as part of plans to boost town centre footfall.
The town centre reopened for business on Monday, with a range of new safety measures in place.
Starting this Sunday, June 21, the Time Square car park will be open every Sunday, from 7am to 9pm, and will be free of charge.
Parking charges will still apply from Monday to Saturday.
The council says this is part of its plans to support a thriving town centre as shops open their doors once again.
The car park forms part of its £142.5 million town centre regeneration scheme, Time Square.
