THE clock is ticking to get your hands on a replica Tiny Steps football shirt ahead of the charity's sixth birthday celebrations.

A Tiny Steps side will take on a Northwich Victoria supporters XI for a five-hour marathon of football on Saturday, October 3.

So far, the shirts have been in high demand.

And with the closing date for orders being Saturday, June 6, there is not much time left to get an order in.

Scott Burstow, fundraiser for Tiny Steps, said: "We did a little post on Friday to show the new Tiny Steps football top ahead of the game against Northwich Victoria select FC in October.

"It went a little crazy and loads wanted to buy it, which is amazing. We took orders from folk from Manchester, Wales and Newcastle."

Adult shirts cost £35, with £10 going to Tiny Steps, while children's shirts cost £24, with £6 going to the charity.

Tiny Steps’ goal is to open a sensory play area in mid Cheshire for youngsters with additional needs.

It has been running ‘stay and play’ sessions over the past 12 months, which have seen dozens of families enjoy activities at Sir John Deane’s College.

Following the football marathon, a DJ event will take place at The Salty Dog, featuring Inspiral Carpets keyboardist Clint Boon and Davos, who has played with K-Klass.
