A CANNABIS farm was discovered at a house after a police officer smelled the drug while on patrol.
The officer, who was on patrol on the evening of Saturday, May 23 traced the smell to a nearby property.
A large quantity of cannabis plants in various stages of growth were discovered.
A suspect was detained at the house.
Vo Van Hong, 29, of Edge Street, Nutgrove was charged with producing a controlled Class B drug.
He was remanded to appear before a magistrates' court.
