A MAN fitted a tracking device to his former partner’s car during a near year-long campaign of stalking.
Warrington Magistrates Court heard that Christian Reynolds, from Rixton, followed his ex's movements between July 2018 and April 2020 using the GPS technology.
The 46-year-old, of Chapel Lane, was handed a 12-month community order at Warrington Magistrates Court on Tuesday, May 19, after admitting harassment.
He was also told to carry out a rehabilitation activity requirement of up to 20 days and given a restraining order preventing him from contacting the victim or approaching her home address for the next year.
Magistrates ordered Reynolds to pay a £122 victim surcharge plus £85 court costs, as well as the forfeiture and destruction of the tracking device.
