A FIVE-year-old has been selling homemade loom bands to raise money for the hospice which cared for his great-nan.

Lennon Peers, from Bewsey, came up with the idea to give back to St Roccos Hospice, where his great-nan stayed before she died.

Loom bands are a form of bracelet made by weaving together coloured rubber bands.

Lennon planned to sell each of his loom bands for £1, and set his sights on raising a total of £80.

After just one week, Lennon had managed to raise more than £250.

He kindly delivered the money in person to St Roccos Hospice.
