WARRINGTON Wolves forward Luis Johnson has shared the moment his father was given a guard of honour by hospital nurses and staff following his battle with coronavirus in ICU.
Johnson, the 21-year-old who joined The Wire from Castleford in 2018, revealed his dad was back on a 'normal ward' after almost seven weeks on a ventilator and three of them in a coma.
"He really is the strongest person I know, a fighter and the true definition of a Covid-19 survivor," said Luis in a Tweet.
I couldn’t help but share this 😭 My dad being discharged from ICU on to a normal ward after spending 51 days in there. Almost 7 weeks on a ventilator, 3 of those weeks in a coma, he really is the strongest person I know, a fighter and the true definition of a Covid-19 surviver. pic.twitter.com/xdKCM5Qb2C
