IT may not have been the celebration we had planned, but Warrington residents still came together during lockdown to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
On Friday, May 8, families remembered the sacrifices of those who fought in the Second World War while celebrating Victory in Europe.
From socially distant street parties and plenty of scones, to homemade bunting and creative costumes, residents joined in the nation-wide efforts.
