A MAN who refused to leave Bridge Street despite warnings from police has been jailed.

Tyler Greenway, 20, was sentenced at Warrington Magistrates' Court for a number of offences earlier this month.

The court heard he attacked a woman on April 4.

Greenway, of James Lee House, on Brick Street, then racially abused a man in the Patten Arms Hotel in the town centre two days later.

Warrington Guardian:

Officers than stopped him with three other men on Bridge Street on April. He was arrested again when he refused to disperse.

Magistrates were told he had also breached a conditional discharge from February for using threatening or abusive words.

He was jailed for 15 weeks and given a criminal behaviour order for two years – banning him from going into the town centre.
