The works will start near Junction Nine Retail Park
A NEW retailer is set to move in at Junction Nine Retail Park.
Wren Kitchens has put in a planning application for electronic signage at the unit on the Winwick Road shopping park.
It is due to be housed next to the Iceland Food Warehouse.
The kitchen giant also has a unit at Riverside Retail Park in the town.
Planning documents state: "With regards to traffic safety concerns, numerous pieces of research have shown that there is as yet no proven correlation between LED digital advertising and reduced traffic safety."
The documents also state Wren uses such digital displays at some of its other bases in the country.
Currently Pets at Home, Home Bargains and the Iceland Food Warehouse remain open.
