A WOMAN has been handed a suspended sentence after assaulting a nurse and two security guards at the Royal Bolton Hospital on Saturday.

Louise Adam, of Haydock Street, Bolton pleaded guilty to all three charges of assault at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today, Monday.

The 58-year-old was given a sentence of 16 weeks suspended for a year and ordered to pay compensation to the victims along with court costs.

Police were called to the hospital at around 2.30pm on Saturday to reports a nurse had been punched and two security guards had been spat at.
