CARERS have come up with an enjoyable way of teaching people to wash their hands regularly during the coronavirus pandemic.

Shelby Robinson and Steph Pennington are both homecare support workers for Kare Plus Warrington, and are still working hardd to keep vulnerable people safe during the health crisis.

They have been trying to spread the word on hand cleaning while cheering people up with a sing-a-long video.

Shelby and Steph, along with many carers, support adults who have alzheimer's and dementia, as well as those with physical and learning disabilities, sensory impairment, mental health issues and end-of-life support.

As well as personal care, they look after people's medication, social activities, shopping assistance and light domestic duties.

A spokesperson for Kare Plus said: "We are very proud of all our carers who are going out there every day doing a fantastic job during these worrying times.

"We have a strong, fantastic team out there and we are also recruiting for staff to join Kare Plus."
