A woman who made a threatening phone call has been fined.
Michele Hazel Whineray, 40, of Bowness Court, Workington, pleaded guilty to sending a malicious communication before magistrates at Workington last Friday.
The court heard that Whineray made a phone call on February 4 which conveyed a threat that caused distress or anxiety.
She was fined £200 and ordered to attend up to 20 rehabilitation requirement days.
Whineray must also pay £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
