JASON Manford has announced two Warrington dates as part of a mammoth tour which will see him on the road for the best part of a year.

The Salford observational comic, actor and presenter will be coming to the Parr Hall on March 17 and 18, 2021, for his Like Me show, a comedic look at the social media age.

Jason's warm-up shows will take place between September and November, then his 99-date 2021 tour will start in January and conclude with a homecoming at Manchester Arena on October 23.

He said: “After the fun we had on my last tour, Muddle Class, I’m excited to get back on the road with my new stand-up show, Like Me.

“In these trying times it’s always important to be able to get away for a couple of hours and exercise the old chuckle muscle.

"So I’m coming to a venue near you in 2021 so we can have a good laugh together. See you then.”

In a bizarre turn, Jason was recently became runner-up on the first series of The Masked Singer as 'Hedgehog'.

The 38-year-old has also recently reinvented himself as a musical theatre star – appearing in the likes of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Producers and Curtains.

Closer to home, Jason featured in Ordinary Lies, with Max Beesley, Michelle Keegan and Mackenzie Crook.

The TV comedy drama was filmed in Warrington, mainly at John Stuart Car Superstore in Orford Lane.
