TWO suspected burglars were found hiding in undergrowth near a canal after a police chase earlier today, Tuesday.
Police attempted to stop two stolen vehicles travelling on Mill Lane in Lymm shortly before midday.
One of the cars failed to stop for officers, and a pursuit through the village ensued.
The two occupants abandoned the vehicle on Statham Avenue and fled on foot, but were located a short time later in undergrowth by the Bridgewater Canal.
Two men, aged 21 and 24, were then arrested on suspicion of burglary.
